Fly, Geese, Fly Quilted Shawl Pattern (PDF ONLY)

Fly Geese Fly is my modern interpretation of the classic Flying Geese block.

As I designed this pattern, I spent time looking at images of geese in flight and discovered that while they often migrate in the familiar V-formation, they also fly in looser groupings for other reasons—whether for feeding, protection, or simply the joy of flying together. My “geese” fall into that second category!

Though they might appear a bit scattered in the pattern, once the shawl is wrapped around you, the design comes together beautifully—creating a stunning, dynamic look in motion.

Includes full step-by-step instructions, from fabric requirements and piecing the blocks, to binding, adding fringe, and making the pockets.

The finished shawl measures 84” wide by 42" tall, but it can be made larger.
